Local’s Night is Back for Fall!
Published on September 5, 2024
Here’s to you, Southern Californians. In a tradition spanning 30 years, Santa Monica Local’s Night is BACK. This yearly free series is just one of the wonderful benefits of living in this beautiful city.
Throughout fall, every third Thursday of the month will be Local’s Night. Of course, by ‘locals’ we mean anyone from Los Angeles and greater Southern California. During these events, which run from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m, you can enjoy top-notch entertainment, youth activities, local DJs, live music, art exhibits, dance classes, and more.
To kick off the fall series, Santa Monica’s Office of Sustainability will present a special celebration on Thursday, September 19. The Santa Monica Pier Corporation will be rolling out the red carpet for locals, so gather your friends and family and head down to the Pier.
Previous events on the historic Pier have include some of the biggest names and most talented performers in music, including Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, and The English Beat.
Don’t miss out on the fun! Pacific Park is even lighting up the famous Pacific Wheel in colors of green and blue to mark the occasion.
