There will also be various photo opportunities, performances by the Charger Girls and Thunderbolts drumline, and other fan activations. The LA Chargers NFL Draft Party will be hosted by KABC’s Ashley Brewer and feature exclusive interviews with Chargers players and football experts.

The party is free for fans to attend but is first-come, first-serve with limited spots available. Fans are encouraged to sign up early and pre-register at chargers.com/draftparty. Ride-share company LYFT is also offering a $10 credit for rides to the party which pre-registration.

The LA Chargers NFL Draft party takes place on the iconic Santa Monica Pier, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and home to Pacific Park and the world-famous Pacific Wheel, the world’s first and only solar-powered Ferris wheel. The Wheel will feature an exclusive light show in celebration of the Chargers Draft Party. Fans can expect to see the Chargers team colors, lightening bolt logo, and more throughout the evening. They can also purchase special Chargers branded cotton candy and Dippin’ Dots flavor throughout the evening in Pacific Park, while supplies last.

The Pacific Wheel has become an icon on the Southern California coastline and is regularly featured in film, TV shows, and daily newscasts in the Southland. The Park accommodates special lighting requests to celebrate holidays, special occasions, and to bring awareness to our partners and community-focused organizations. The Wheel’s 174,000 LED lights are mounted on the Ferris wheel’s structure, including the 40 spokes and two hubs. The world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel’s lighting system features 16.7 million color value combinations while the programming and display software presents imaging up to 24 frames per second to display dynamic, custom, computer-generated lighting entertainment. The eco-friendly, enhanced LED lighting provides 81 percent greater energy savings than most Ferris wheel’s traditional incandescent bulbs.

The LA Chargers were established in 1960. They played one season in Los Angeles before moving to San Diego for the next 50+ years. They returned to LA in 2017. The Chargers currently own the 28th overall selection in the first round of the NFL Draft.
