Santa Monica Pier Closed By Executive Order of City of Santa Monica Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Pacific Park and the Santa Monica Pier were closed to the public march 16 – June 24, 2020.

The City of Santa Monica issued an executive order under emergency powers to temporarily close the Santa Monica Pier to the public. This included the pier deck parking, the amusement park, and all other tenant businesses on the Pier. The closure took effect at 6am on Monday, March 16, 2020.
