Two Stages of Live Music, Spring Art Mart, Salsa Dancing, Classic Cars, and Live Theater Come Together for One Night at the Santa Monica Pier

 

Spring has officially sprung at the Santa Monica Pier as Locals’ Night returns Thursday, April 16, transforming the Pier into a vibrant, open-air celebration of music, art, and community from 3:30 to 10 p.m.

Presented by Pacific Park in partnership with Harvelle’s, this free, all-ages event brings together two stages of live music, a Spring Art Mart, salsa dancing, a classic car show, and a special performance of the “Save the Pier!” play—all in one unforgettable night over the ocean.

From local artists and vintage vendors to live bands and dance floors, Springtime at the Pier invites guests to explore, connect, and celebrate the creative spirit of Santa Monica.

 

Locals’ Night Highlights

Spring Art Mart

4 – 8:30 p.m. at Pier Parking Deck
Shop local artists, vintage finds, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Support small businesses and discover something truly unique.

 

Two Stages of Live Music

Punk Stage

– 4 p.m. – DJ URL

– 6:30 p.m. – No Reaction

– 8:30 p.m. – Secret Headliner

Harvelle’s Stage

– 5:30 p.m. – No Chasers

– 7:30 p.m. – Alligator Beach Band

 

Classic Car Show

4 – 8 p.m.
A showcase of vintage cars adding style and nostalgia to the Pier.

 

Salsa Way at Patio 66 at Pacific Park

6 – 9:30 p.m.

– Free salsa lessons and open dance floor over the ocean

– Select beer and wine will be available, along with a margarita special

 

“Save the Pier!” Play

8 – 9 p.m. at West End, behind Mariasol
A special live theatrical performance celebrating the history, resilience, and community spirit of the Santa Monica Pier.

 

Books & Cookies Musical Storytime

3:30 p.m.  & 4:30 p.m. at Merry Go-Round Building
Interactive storytelling and music for families and young guests.
