What to Expect When Beach Cycling at Santa Monica
Beach Cycle’s outdoor workouts are designed for pretty much anyone, from beginners to experienced stationary bike riders. No matter what your fitness or experience level, there are a few things to know to ensure a great experience that’s on par with what you’d find in the best Santa Monica cycling studios.
- Reserve your ride.
These amazing workouts are incredibly popular, and they book up well in advance. Plus, drop-in options are not offered, so booking is an absolute must. The good news is that reserving a bike is a breeze and can be done through Beach Cycle’s website.
- Show up 20 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Leave yourself plenty of time to check in and set up your bike and headphones so you’re ready to kick into gear when class starts. This also gives you a chance to meet your instructor and ask questions before beginning your ride.
- Come prepared.
For a safe and energizing ride, you’ll want to bring a few essentials with you:
- Running or cycling shoes (SPD shoes recommended)
- A full water bottle
- A towel
- A light jacket
For the safety of all Beach Cycle instructors and participants, social distancing and sanitization practices are strictly followed during all classes.
