Celebrate Dia de los Muertos on the Santa Monica Pier

If you’re looking for a way to celebrate Dia de los Muertos in the Los Angeles area, Mariasol is offering free face painting for the occasion! Each year Mariasol, one of the restaurants on the Santa Monica Pier, celebrates this day rooted in Mexican culture. Dia de los Muertos (“Day of the Dead”) is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico that celebrates and remembers the lives of friends and family who have passed away in order to help support their spiritual journey. Mariasol invites families and children to take part in the free face painting as a way of sharing their Mexican culture and celebrating Dia de los Muertos.
When: Friday, November 1st 2019, 3-6pm
Where: Mariasol, located at the west end of the Santa Monica Pier
Cost: Free!
All ages are welcome to take part in the free face painting for Dia. While there, you can also plan dinner at the restaurant to enjoy their authentic Mexican fare.
