November 20th Locals’ Night Postponed

Due to expected inclement weather, the Santa Monica Pier Corporation has postponed the November 20 Locals’ Night event out of an abundance of caution for guests, performers, vendors, and staff.

The popular community program will return Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 3:30 to 10 p.m., with a special holiday-themed edition featuring Holiday Cheer on the Pier and Sandy Cane Lane, transforming the Pier into a festive winter waterfront experience for all ages.

The Santa Monica Pier Corporation will also host the unofficial mayor transition ceremony in the Merry Go-Round building.

Presented by Pacific Park, the December Locals’ Night will feature a Holiday Winter Art Mart, local makers offering handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, Pier-wide décor, and a lively lineup of live entertainment. Guests can stroll past illuminated displays, shop for last-minute holiday presents, enjoy family activities, and experience the Pier’s year-end transformation into a coastal holiday village featuring a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus, a Santa Sand Sculpture, Bob Baker Marionettes at Pacific Park, and Paint: Lab Kids Ornament Painting at the Merry Go-Round building.
