The Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel will be lit yellow and red on Friday, March 25 in recognition of Price is Right 50th Anniversary.
The classic CBS game show The Price is Right is celebrating 50 years on the air with a cross-country tour where contestants can win $50,000. The tour kicks off right here at the Santa Monica Pier on Friday, March 25. Pacific Park is partnering with CBS to promote the tour kick off and celebration of the show’s 50-year milestone by running a special light program on the Pacific Wheel.
The touring show will also be set up outside the Park’s east gate in the upper lot inviting guests to come on down for a chance to win big money from noon to 5 PM.
The special lighting event will take place that evening of Friday, March 25. The Ferris wheel lights can be seen from dusk until 11:35 PM each evening. Enjoy watching the light program online at www.pacpark.com/live.

The epic coast-to-coast tour will make 50 stops across the country, giving America the opportunity to play games, score prizes, and enter for a chance to win a grand prize of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), while supporting local businesses along the way. THE PRICE IS RIGHT COME ON DOWN TOUR kicks off Friday, March 25th at the world-renowned Santa Monica Pier with a spectacular, themed lighting of the pier’s famous Ferris wheel to celebrate.
For the past 50 years, THE PRICE IS RIGHT has been part of the fabric of America, uplifting viewers and contestants alike with positivity, excitement, and a daily escape. The tour will be making eight special stops from Los Angeles to New York, including host Drew Carey’s hometown of Cleveland as well as Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, and St. Louis. Fans will be able to win prizes supporting beloved local business partners whose history is deeply tied to 1972, THE PRICE IS RIGHT’s premiere year. These meaningful partnerships will extend the positive impact of THE PRICE IS RIGHT COME ON DOWN TOUR by giving back to the businesses that serve each of these communities.
