Stray Kids World Tour Ferris Wheel Lighting at the Santa Monica Pier

The Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel will be lit in red on Wednesday, May 28th in celebration of Stray Kids’ <dominATE> World Tour, including a stop at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on Saturday, May 31st. 

This special lighting event will take place on the evening of Wednesday, May 28th. The Ferris wheel lights can be seen from dusk until 11:35 PM each evening. Enjoy watching the light program online at www.pacpark.com/live.

Following the record-breaking success of Stray Kids’ 2024 shows in Asia & Australia, the acclaimed, gold certified, global K-Pop phenomenon has unveiled 20 new performances on their highly successful <dominATE> World Tour across Latin America, North America, Europe and the UK. The Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> marks their first full run of stadium dates and long-awaited return following their second world tour, “MANIAC”, which successfully held 42 shows across 18 cities. With this new outing, Stray Kids aims to reach more regions and connect with even more STAY (fandom name), across the globe.

About Stray Kids

Stray Kids is JYP Entertainment’s 8-member boy band formed in March 2018. The group’s name “Stray Kids” stands for their determination to break and escape from tradition, formalities, and the old system. All members not only are talented in vocals, rap, and performance, but have also been credited for producing the majority of Stray Kids’ unique discography.

The Pacific Wheel

Pacific Park regularly programs the Ferris wheel to display seasonal programing and themed light designs for holidays and special occasions. The Pacific Wheel’s state-of-the-art lighting package was installed in 2016 and can display over 1.6 million different colors and animate patterns and icons in 24 frames per second. The energy efficient LEDs on the face of the Ferris wheel are powered by solar arrays inside Pacific Park. The light programs are curated and designed by Pacific Park staff. Each design is manually animated; some designs can take hours of programming. The aim is to provide fun, high-energy, and sometimes whimsical designs to entertain guests on the Santa Monica Pier and surrounding beaches.
