Let your child’s artistic side run wild this September in a new, Westside outdoor art event for children.

The Cayton Children’s Museum is offering a new concept this fall with its series Cayton Creators, an outdoor creative arts experience.

The Cayton Creators series gives children a chance to create their own masterpieces of art with live facilitation from teaching artists and museum ambassadors. Each family/group will have their will have their own table that is organized in a socially distance manner.

Cayton Creators is designed to foster connection and creativity while engaging families in the celebration and discussion of basic artistic themes that are critical for early childhood development. Weekly themes will include rhythm, poetry and spoken word, abstraction and curiosity, inspiration and experimentation, and more.

The series is being held the first two Wednesdays and Saturdays in September 2020, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM.

All ages are welcome although the program is curated for young artists ages 3-8 and their families. Each time slot is limited to 24 attendees and pre-registration is required. For more information and to sign up, please visit the Cayton Museum’s website.

The Cayton Museum is an interactive children’s museum that is designed to engage, build skills, and teach children as they experience it. It is located on the third level of Santa Monica Place between the Cheesecake Factory and Arclight in Downtown Santa Monica.
