Twilight on the Pier Comedy with Frankie Quinones at Pacific Park, an Evening of Laughs Hosted by Jil Chrissie

Comedy at Twilight on the Pier
This week’s theme of Twilight on the Pier is Latin Wave! For the event, comedians Carmen Morales, Jonathon Rowell, Paige Weldon, and Frankie Quinones perform this Wednesday August 28th at Pacific Park’s Seaside Pavilion (located next to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf) as part of Twilight on the Pier. Jil Chrissie will be the host of the comedy line-up starting at 6:30pm on the Santa Monica Pier.

Headliner Frankie Quinones is known for his character work. He’s made appearances on Comedy Central, HBO, TBS and Nickelodeon. Quinones will also soon be a regular on the series “The Dress Up Gang” on TBS, as well as voicing a character on the upcoming Cartoon Network series “Victor and Valentino.” You can check out one of his more popular characters, called Creeper on his YouTube:
Also performing during Latin Wave is Carmel Morales, who has made appearances on the TV show “Laughs” on Fox, as well as appeared on Sirius XM Radio in the U.S. and Canada. She has also been featured in numerous comedy festivals across the country! Jonathon Rowell is the next comedian in the night’s line-up. Rowell was featured in Out on Stage: The Movie, which then turned into a comedy series for Dekkoo and PlutoTV. He has also written for “Billy on the Street” and “Roast Battle.” You can also check out comedian Paige Weldon, who has been seen on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and was recently named one of TimeOut LA’s top 10 comedians to watch. She has a recurring podcast called Mall Talk, which you can listen to on the Forever Dog Podcast Network.
The host for Latin Wave night will be writer and comedian Jil Chrissie, who recently performed a one woman show during the Hollywood Fringe Festival, as well as performed at The Hollywood Improv and The World Famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Chrissie has also performed as part of Funny or Die’s “Office Stand-Up”. You can check out Chrissie’s stand-up in this clip from the Laughs TV Show:
This is the first time a full line up of stand-up comedians has been planned for Twilight on the Pier. Each week will have a new theme, celebrating a different culture! The comedy stage will be located in Pacific Park’s Seaside Pavilion, which is located on the west end of the amusement park next to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. The comedy stage is 21+ and doors open around 6PM, and runs until about 9pm.
Twilight on the Pier runs every Wednesday evening from August 21 – September 25th. This is a free event with plenty of activities for all guests including live music on the Twilight main stage, fun Instagrammable moments and art throughout the Pier, and more performance art at the west end.
