Head down to the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday, November 3rd for the 20th annual Mattel Party on the Pier! Each year this fundraising event works to raise funding for the programs that benefit children who are being treated at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, and more around the world. UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital cares for children from newborns to young adults in a state-of-the-art facility, equipped to care for critically ill patients. The funds raised at the event will help create new hospital programs, fund research conducted by physician-scientists to help discover new treatments and innovative technology to transform pediatric care. You can learn more about UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital here.

About the 20th Annual Party on the Pier

The 20th Annual Party on the Pier event to benefit UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital will take place at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, from 10am-2pm on Sunday, November 3rd. You can purchase tickets ahead of time online here, and all ticket purchases are tax-deductible. There will also be a limited amount of general admission tickets for sale the day of the event. At the event, your ticket will include unlimited access to rides, Power of Play kid’s activity tent with crafts and other activities, meal vouchers and fun treats, celebrity appearances and a photo booth, plus UCLA People-Animal Connection therapy dogs on site. Celebrity appearances this year include stars from Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and YouTube.

Sold separately from the event ticket, midway game play cards, filled with Mattel Toys as prizes, will be available for purchase. Attendees can even purchase wristbands for unlimited game play. Whereas in years pasts guests could purchase items onsite with cash, event tickets and midway games this year are available for purchase by card only. Event sponsors (learn about being a sponsor here), have access to the VIP tent with lunch provided by Wolfgang Puck Catering. If you are unable to attend, but would still like to make a general donation of an amount of your choice, you can do so here.
