Snow Day at the Santa Monica Pier

Play in the snow, but also at the beach for Snow Day!
It’s the first-ever Snow Day in Santa Monica. 4,000 sq ft of real snow will fall on the Pier deck east of the merry-go-round on Saturday, November 30th as part of Cheer on the Pier. You’ve always heard that you can start your day in Southern California in the snow in the mountains and end your day surfing at the beach… now you can make that a reality by simply walking down a set of stairs!
Snow Day will take place from 11AM – 5PM on Saturday, November 30th on the Santa Monica Pier. Children 12 years and younger can play for free, while anyone 13 and over can enjoy the snow for only $5. You can RSVP ahead of time on Eventbrite, however actual ticket sales won’t happen until the day of event at the event entrance.
Once you’re done playing in the snow, or if you need a break from the chill, head over to Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier where you can take your kids on Inkie’s Wave Jumper or play around on the bumper cars. Warm up with a hot chocolate or coffee from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and finish the day off with a treat – a warm, fresh funnel cake from Funnel Cakes or hot fudge sundae from Scoops Ice Cream and Treats.
Snow Day is a magical winter wonderland on the beach that you won’t want to miss!
